Pressure chamber test No. 258 on 27 November is the first test in the new pressure chamber facility in Zurich. Pressure chamber tests No. 259 and 260 are carried out in Zurich.
1976
Pressure chamber trials No. 261 to 291 are carried out in Zurich.
Albert Bühlmann submits the construction bill for the new pressure chamber to the Government Council of the Canton of Zurich and the other sponsors.
1977
Pressure chamber tests No. 292 to 296 are carried out in Zurich, test No. 295 goes up to 500 metres.
Albert Bühlmann receives the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society, Commercial Diving Award.
1978
Pressure chamber tests No. 297 to 330 are carried out in Zurich.

Pressure chamber tests No. 331 to 338 are carried out in Zurich.

Pressure chamber tests No. 339 to 372 are carried out in Zurich.
1981
Pressure chamber tests No. 373 to 393 are carried out in Zurich; pressure chamber test No. 373 from 28 January to 5 February leads to the Zurich record depth of 575 metres; it marks the end of the deep diving tests in the Zurich pressure chamber laboratory; tests 374 to 443 no longer exceed the depth of 44 metres.
Albert Bühlmann publishes the Zurich experience with the «high pressure nervous syndrome – HPNS».
Shell International and Micoperi no longer extend the research and consultancy contract with Albert Bühlmann.

Pressure chamber experiments No. 399 to 414 are carried out in Zurich.
From 22 November to 21 December, 12 doctors, including Dr. med. E. Russi and Dr. med. Oelz together with 4 glider pilots carried out altitude tests in the pressure chamber up to an altitude of 6500 metres.
The monograph by Albert Bühlmann «Decompression Sickness» is published by Springer Verlag; in the monograph Albert Bühlmann describes the Zurich calculation model for calculating decompressions.
1984

1985
Pressure chamber experiments No. 444 to 455 are carried out in Zurich.
Test No. 455 on 11 September is the last pressure chamber test within the framework of diving medical research at the University Hospital Zurich.
Albert Bühlmann submits to the management of the Medical Clinic of the University of Zurich, the hospital administration and the Government Council of the Canton of Zurich his ideas regarding the reorientation of the activities of the pressure chamber laboratory in the light of the upcoming financing problems of the research program. The Government Council supports the hospital administration and the management of the Medical Clinic in their decision to conclude a technical development contract with STATOIL, the Norwegian state oil company, with the aim of developing the deep-dive breathing system BESK 710 by Benno Schenk; Albert Bühlmann’s objections to this contract are ignored. He doubts Statoil’s interest in a long-term cooperation.
Dive computer Deco-Brain II by Divetronics with the Bühlmann computer model ZHL-16 is announced.
Conclusion of a consulting contract between Albert Bühlmann and Montres Rolex on 23 October.
Albert Bühlmann informs the Government Council and the management of the Medical Clinic on 1st of December that he will in future refrain from using the Zurich pressure chamber laboratory for his diving medical research.
